The price you see is not the price you pay. That is the hidden truth about RSVPify, RegFox, and many others.
Both platforms advertise low monthly rates. But once you need basic features like custom fields, your own email domain, or a customizable registration page and forms, the cost jumps. Sometimes by thousands of dollars.
Check-in Pax takes a different approach. Pay per event. Everything included. No monthly subscriptions. No enterprise upsells.
This comparison covers single events. One gala. One conference. One summit. Pay for what you use.
Please note: RSVPify, RegFox and Check-in Pax are solid platforms for certain use cases. This comparison is for event planners who organize specific events that need custom fields, own-domain emails, flexible guest counts and transparent pricing without enterprise upgrades.

RSVPify: Enterprise Required for Basic Features
RSVPify’s DIY monthly plans look affordable. Starter is $39 per month. Plus is $125. Professional is $409.
But none of these plans include custom fields, custom domains, or sending email from your own domain. These features are locked behind their Enterprise tier.
A community post from RSVPify confirms this. When a user asked how to add custom data fields, the official response was: “The custom data fields feature is currently only available with our Enterprise plan tier.”
Another user needed to add hotel confirmation numbers. Same answer. Enterprise only.
RSVPify also does not support instant on-site name badge printing with e.g. Brother label printers. Generating badges manually or in bulk requires Windows/Mac computers.
For email from your own domain, RSVPify’s help center states this is available for Enterprise customers. But even then, it is an optional add-on. “Additional fees apply.”
So the $39 per month plan does not get you a working solution for invitation-only events. You are forced into an Enterprise contract with unpredictable pricing.
RegFox: The Fee Trap
RegFox advertises a low entry price. $0.99 per registrant plus 1 percent when payments are processed. A monthly base fee of $9 to $39.
But RegFox charges extra for everything you actually need.
A custom domain costs $150 per year. Or you can upgrade to their Professional plan, which costs more.
Text messaging has a $49 one-time activation fee.
The biggest hidden cost is custom page builds. If you need a registration page that actually works for your event, RegFox charges:
- Basic page build: $999 (limit of 5 conditional logic actions)
- Standard page build: $1,299 (limit of 15 actions)
- Advanced page build: $1,499 (unlimited actions)
After paying this one-time fee, you still manage everything yourself. RegFox does not maintain your page for you.
What looks like a cheap per-registrant fee can become expensive down the road.
Check-in Pax: Everything Included. Pay Per Event.
Check-in Pax does not believe in hiding features behind Enterprise tiers or charging extra for basic functionality.
Our MANAGE plan costs $750 per event. This includes:
- 15 custom fields (more than most events will ever need)
- Custom domain (rsvp-me.to/custom) at no extra cost
- Send emails from your own domain
- Full registration page builder with no coding required
- Unlimited guests (fair usage policy applies)
- Unlimited team members and check-in devices
No monthly subscription. No annual contract. Pay only for the events you actually run.
Run more than one event per year? Check-in Pax offers package discounts up to 20 percent. RSVPify and RegFox just multiply their monthly fees.
The Math: One Event, 500 Guests
Here is what a single invitation-only event costs across all three platforms.
| Cost | RSVPify Professional | RegFox (with custom domain + basic page build) | Check-in Pax MANAGE |
|---|---|---|---|
| Base cost | $409 per month x 12 months = $4,908 | ($39 x 12) + ($0.99 + 1% x 500) = $1,013 | $750 per event |
| Custom domain | Enterprise only (no public pricing) | +$150 | Included |
| Custom page build | Enterprise only | +$999 (basic) | Included |
| Email from own domain | Enterprise only (additional fees) | Unclear | Included |
| Total for one event | $4,908+ (Enterprise required) | $2,162+ | $750 |
Check-in Pax saves you at least $1,412 compared to RegFox for a single event. Compared to RSVPify, the savings are even larger because you are forced into an Enterprise plan with no public pricing.
